Embark on a self-drive holiday through Tuscany, exploring renowned wine regions, medieval towns, and breathtaking landscapes. Enjoy wine tastings in Greve in Chianti, San Gimignano, Montalcino, and Montepulciano while staying in Siena. Includes car rental, hotel accommodations, and return flights to Pisa.

Day 1 - Arrival and Sienna
Arrive at Pisa Airport, collect your rental car, and enjoy a scenic drive to your hotel in Siena, where you'll stay for the next four nights. After checking in, take some time to explore the nearby attractions in Siena.

Day 2 - Greve in Chianti and Siena
Drive to a picturesque castle in Greve in Chianti, dating back to the 1400s, featuring solid stone architecture and a high crenellated tower. Enjoy a wine tasting of Chianti Classico in a typical cellar next to the vineyards, with a panoramic terrace overlooking the Greve valley. Return to Siena to explore its medieval charm, with winding streets, high brick palaces, and historic sites such as the Palazzo Pubblico and Torre del Mangia, offering stunning views of Piazza del Campo.

Day 3 - Monteriggioni and San Gimignano
Take a short drive to the medieval town of Monteriggioni, one of the best-preserved medieval city centres in Italy, enclosed by a nearly 600-metre-long wall. The town's quaint houses and narrow streets transport you back in time. Next, visit San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its charming medieval architecture and unchanged appearance since the 14th century. Enjoy a wine tasting of Vernaccia Wine at a typical farm.

Day 4 - Montalcino and Montepulciano
After breakfast, drive to Montalcino, famous for its Brunello wine. This town of Etruscan origin has a rich history, often contested by Florence and Siena. Continue to Montepulciano, located on a high tufa plateau, and renowned for its Vino Nobile wine.

Day 5 - Departure from Siena
Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel, check out, and spend the last morning exploring the beautiful city of Siena before your departure.
