Your holiday will start in the captivating climes of Iceland, before hopping over the pond to America for a stay in the bustling Big Apple.
You'll kick off your adventure with three nights in the Grandi Hotel by Centerhotels, located in the world's most northerly capital of Reykjavik. From here, you'll get the chance to spot the elusive Northern Lights, explore Iceland’s South Shore and tour the Golden Circle - where you can stare at shooting geysers, gaze over tumbling falls and witness the meeting of tectonic plates, before heading on to the USA.
After touching down in the Big Apple, you'll transfer to your central city hotel for four days to explore New York's iconic sights. Be sure to leave room in your suitcase, as shopping here's an absolute dream and your Hilton Garden Inn Times Square South base is just moments from some of the best hotspots in the city.
Your stay also includes a guided day trip to Boston from New York. The tour begins in the city of Cambridge, home to the renowned Harvard University. Highlights include a stroll in Harvard Yard, the oldest academic ground in America, viewing the Widener Library, and the tradition of rubbing the shoe of John Harvard for good luck. The panoramic tour continues, passing by City Hall, MIT, and Cambridge College before crossing the Charles River into Boston. The itinerary explores Copley Square, featuring the impressive Trinity Church, followed by a walk along the Freedom Trail through Boston Common Park. A lunch break at Quincy Market allows for savouring world-famous Clam Chowder or a Lobster roll. The tour concludes with a visit to the site of the historic Tea Party.
Good to know: The Northern Lights are a naturally occurring phenomenon, so whilst we hope you will get to marvel at them during your excursion, we can't guarantee that they will be visible.
