Arrive in Iceland’s International Airport and get transferred to your downtown hotel for a four-night stay. Have the rest of the day to yourself to explore Reykjavik.
Day 2: Reykjavik and Northern Lights Tour
Today, you'll have the opportunity to explore Reykjavik at your leisure, setting your own pace to discover the captivating charm of Iceland's capital city. Roam through its colourful streets, soak in the rich culture, and immerse yourself in the warm hospitality of the locals. Later in the day, an unforgettable adventure awaits as you embark on an excursion to witness one of nature's most awe-inspiring phenomena—the northern lights. These mystical lights, also known as the aurora borealis, grace the night sky with their ethereal dance of colours from late August to mid-April. Formed by the interplay of solar particles with the upper atmosphere near the Magnetic Pole, the northern lights paint the heavens with vibrant hues of green, pink, and violet, leaving all who witness it in utter amazement. As you gaze upon this breathtaking spectacle, you'll undoubtedly feel a profound connection with the natural wonders of our world.
Day 3: The Golden Circle
Today's excursion promises to be an unforgettable journey through Iceland's magnificent Golden Circle! This popular roundtrip takes you to Iceland's historical marvel, Thingvellir National Park, the sparkling Gullfoss waterfalls, and the incredible geysers at Geysir. Prepare to be enchanted by the stunning natural phenomena and rich heritage along the way.
Day 4: South Shore Tour
Today's excursion is the South Shore Adventure tour, ideal for nature enthusiasts of all kinds.
The tour takes you along Iceland's scenic south coast to Vík, a charming village surrounded by bird cliffs. The region's flatness allows for grain farming, protected from harsh winds by the northern mountains. Nature's highlights include the breathtaking Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls, with Seljalandsfoss offering a unique opportunity to walk behind it. Reynisfjara black sand beach, with its striking rock formations and basalt columns, is another stop.
